ACE Tours proudly announces the inclusion of award-winning artists Jeff Whipple and Liz Gibson as the final two core artists in the “On the Fence” Open Air Pop-Up Gallery Experience. Their work will be on display at all four of the touring project’s venues, presented every Thursday evening in June 2021.
As one of Northeast Florida’s most noted artists, Jeff’s work “engages viewers in imaginative contemplations about the weirdness and beauty of our brief appearance in the infinity of time.” Accomplished as a painter, illustrator, muralist, sculptor and playwright for over three decades, Jeff leverages the multidisciplinary nature of his practice to create pieces that combine both rapturous internal monologues and master level technical acuity.
Jeff’s most recent project is a series of animal-themed statues that were installed in Historic Roser Park in St. Petersburg, Florida, as part of the Collection of the City of St. Petersburg Public Art Program.
Perhaps best known for her visually stunning and emotionally engaging performance art, Liz speaks with a powerful voice as a visual artist in her own right. Drawing on the rich themes and iconography that fuel her “Deformance Art” events, her work shares a visual journey rife with confessional truths and teachable moments.
